It is so interesting how different silhouettes (of dresses or outfits) totally change the tone of how you are presenting yourself. The exgaggerated, 1950's silhouette really does seem to say "I want to run and bake a big batch of cookies, scoop up my 2 lovely little children (a girl and a boy), and head off to a wonderful, picturesque picnic".

around here it's all dresses and skirts even though i'm a stay at home mom and most days the outings are to the playground. i do feel a bit outsider as everyone else is wearing jeans and such but, hey you got to be you.

lets switch lives for a day. *sigh* Im at a point in My life where I just want to be Me. You seem to express yourself so easily and IM dying for that. I feel everyone pulling me in a diff direction and I see you just being so elegant. you are my idol ;)

That red gingham dress is too cute and looks wonderful on you. The second outfit ain't too shabby either. I hope you keep up this fashion blog. Your post today and the post from a year ago (The Life and Times of a Goth Girl, Grown Up) really comforted me. I woke up very unhappy today thinking about my life and how unhappy I was with it, then I read this "the secret to happiness is loving your own little world". and it made me feel happy because I do love my own little world I have created for myself. I am grateful to be reminded.

ya, dang it was sopposed to be the year of the dress for me last year and i never wore one maybe like twice and i dont think i lasted the whole day. darn... maybe soon INSPIRE ME! maybe give us reasons to wear dresses for no reason ? maybe show us different styles of dresses? i dont know. hmffff.
