I am over the moon in love with my new Sock Dreams purchases. I've never been disappointed by anything from those guys, though! For spring, they have these super-lightweight "Vertically Inclined" socks that are so comfy and adorable, I needed to share them. Miette seems to think that they smell really nice, so that should give you a vote of confidence, too.
And, after all the talk about how great red + teal are together, this was what I wore on a sleepy, lazy, last Saturday.
Unmade bed? 90% of the time.

Oh how I love, love, love your wardrobe! I am surprised you don't sew clothes as handy as you are with the sewing machine. You could probably design a B - EAU- TI - FUL line!

Cute outfit. As for the unmade bed...I subscribe to the school of thought that says, "Why make your bed when you're only going to sleep in it later anyway!?" LOL I'd rather use my energy for something else.

Teal and red is perhaps my favorite combo! Next to teal and orange, I think... unless it's Christmas time, then it's back to teal and red, for sure! I made all these ornaments and bought all of these fabulous sparkly sprigs in teal, which will all go perfectly with my wool tree-skirt, from Anthropologie, of course!!!
Now you've got me craving the holidays, so I can decorate! Mmmmmmm... such yummy colors...

Emily...this may be a crazy question. But I have to know. I love the socks, but how do you get the socks to stay above the knee? They don't fall down for you? Maybe its just that my legs are not thin enough. Tell me the secret.

I adore the combination of teal and red; my living room/kitchen is a very, very pale caribbean teal and my dominant accent color choice has always been red, it pairs so nicely. & I love how you put your outfit together :)
