This little drawing is the beginning of a new design/project that I'm really excited about. Prototypes and patterns have been made, so it's only a matter of honing it all now...
Just have to get a bunch of non-fun (packing + shipping) done today, and then I'm free to get back to working on this new idea. AND get cracking on a couple felt insects, since my Hillary-patterns came in the mail today. Lots of fun sewing to be done...I better keep the sewing mojo I'm feeling right now going strong.

Kind of in the non fun stuff category:
You know what I am craving today. Okay picture this. 1800's. Telegram comes. I am in the studio and instead of being jolted by a cell phone and house phone ringing simultaneously, catapolting me out of my painting at 135 mph. I am instead, slightly distracted by a slight knock on the door with a message from someone, on paper. It is read to me by a young man. I relay my message back to the sender simply by telling this young man what my response is... I give him a coin, and off he goes.
That is all I want for today.
