More Tiny Things...

I made a little nest from the threads and scraps created by last night's stiching of dunce girls. I was just looking at the mini-pile that had accumulated next to my sewing machine, and thought "these tiny scraps of felt and dots and thread and muslin...they are just too lovely to throw away". I know that I am currently addressing some of the only people in the world that would understand a thought like that one! So, now my favorite little bird has a nest of his own. Made of Dunce Scraps.

The pendants are up and (mostly) away! Goodness...I really must get a ton of the silhouette image done, it is so beloved. Just a moment ago, my FedEx man brought to me a new batch of tiny apples of a different kind (which, and this is a statement on my frazzled state last week, I had kinda forgotten about):

Busy Beaver does SUCH a lovely job. They are highly recommended...A+++
These little cuties will make up the newest button batch, and will be up in the shop as soon as the pretty velveteen pouches that they will live in are delivered.

Happy Monday, mes petites peppermints!

What a brillant idea for scrap fabric - I have a couple of little birds in my christmas tree who desparating need snuggly little nests to sit in. :)

As part of the choir you are singing to, let me just say: the nest is killing me, you are brilliant.

I have bags and bags of little fabric scraps just like this. Not to mention a big box of tiny little paper scraps I can't bear to throw away! You just never know, right? The scrappy little nest was a great idea!
