I have a small-ish batch of the lovely pendants, which I will list in the shop tomorrow around 12-ish EST. They are such charmers, but damn if they aren't hard little things to photograph decently!
It was so nice to have an internet + shop break for the weekend. I am thrilled that the shop has been so very busy as of late, but really needed a breather after the hustle and bustle of last week.
Oh! Here is the original inspiration photo for the plaid skirt/petticoat combo (aka my new favorite outfit):
I'm so happy that I could replicate it...I was completely fixated on this image until I had ebay'd a new tartan skirt and located the perfect petticoat (quite unexpectedly!) on the Anthro sales rack for 10 clams.
Speaking of the sales rack over there, I recently acquired these boots so that I could more efficiently cultivate the look of either:
- A living Marionette, or
- A Girl with Victorian-era prosthetic legs.
I love Anthropologie so much for helping me in my quest to look like either or both of the above. I also love America at large for never buying the things that I really, really love from there, so I almost always can get them on clearance!
Nice how quirky taste pays off that way, yes?

I'm just drooling over the pendants. I hope I can get my hands on one. I'll be checking the shop tomorrow. :)

I hate Antrhopologie. The store makes my girlfriend really jealous and mad about all the amazing stuff she wants, but can't buy. They do provide comfortable places for boyfriends to sit, however, so it probably my favorite store to go to if she asks me to come shopping with her.
Anyways, here is a really good tutorial on taking pictures of things like jewelry:

awww... I want a pendant!
So I have been eyeing this blog for awhile and fell in love with that goose head you hung on your wall. I thrift all time but never in a million years did I ever think I could find anything as adorable. What do you know, a few days later I found one for two dollars!
Now its hanging on my wall with the cutest scarf ever. so, thank you.
