Fresh Saltwater

October 01, 2007 · Indie Designers, Online Shops/Sites

I found this beautiful online catalogue/shop call Saltwater whilst browsing through the newest Selvedge.
They're UK based designers, and have really lovely, comfy-looking casual clothes (kinda like Orla, but a smidgen less pricey).

The photography is pretty darn charming, too:

Yes, yes, and yes.

Layer-weather, here I am.

PS: Thanks for all the glasses-love! It's so nice to know a crowd of people who appreciate things like vintage, cat-eye metal glasses! ;)

Damn those are cute clothes - bit out of my price range though. Have you heard of Get Cutie, a UK based store - I think you would like there stuff - getcutie.com. :)

Oh my--this is too funny; I ran across Saltwater a couple days ago (while I was deep in cyber space; amazing the things you find once you loose yourself! lol). I am just in total love with the looks; especially the comfy-cozy looking coats. :) This is totally making me want to break out all my autumn clothes--if only the stubborn weather would cooperate! :)

Have a lovely Monday!

Thanks so much for the Saltwater link! I usually pour over my Selvedge for just this kind of info but I've been too busy. Loved what you did with urban prairie's tee.
Cheers,
Stash

i just recently found this blog. your wardrobe is fascinating and lovely.

but i'm sick with wonder... what does your closet look like?? is it enormous? :)

keep up the good work, you are adorable.

Sarah · October 03, 2007 at 10:13 AM

Yes, very cute clothes, but why does it look like their feet are enormous? Is that styling, do you think, or do those models just have clodhoppers?

i love visiting this blog! i've started thinking about red shoes because of you. well, i've started thinking about SHOES because of you. and i'm saddened that my favourite burgundy cardigan shrunk. a bird pooped on it and i had to wash it. now it iwll be turned into some type of craft. le-sigh.

I love Saltwater too. Another great shop is Toast. www.toast.co.uk

I want everything they sell. I am lucky enough that they send me a catalogue which is printed on the most beautiful mat recycled paper and has luscious photgraphy.

Say hello to Athens for me. I grew up there, but have called NE England home for 20 years.

Feel better now I have de-lurked! Best Wishes.

Love, love, love your style!!! I want all of your shoes too. I need a super style overhaul. I'm already a slave to skirts and summer is coming our way (in New Zealand) and I can't bear to part with my knee high boots. Maybe socks and fabulous shoes are the answer. Sorry, raving with excitement.
