Noa Noa Autumn

September 05, 2007

There are about a zillion beautiful pictures up on the Noa Noa website of their beautiful new collection for fall.
There is lots of monochrome loveliness, loads of layers (as usual), a smattering of knee socks, and general perfection. How much trouble would I be in if I was in Europe and had access to this stuff? I suppose it would just replace Anthro as "the place that takes all my money".

I really love...well...most all of it, but that last all-blue look at the bottom right. I happened on some tights that seem very similar from the Forever 21 webshop last night, so let's hope they aren't too short!

Also, in my web-scavenging for Noa Noa, I happened upon this funny little German site that I (think?) sells Noa Noa, and I have no idea if it's up-to-date, but at any rate be forewarned, it's much less about being romantic and much more about hilarity. The girls that are modeling are so silly and funny.

I can't believe that I didn't know about this company until about a year ago, when a reader directed me to them, because she thought I would be smitten. I am, of course, they're so aesthetically right for me...now we just have to get a few stores States-side. Or I have to move to Europe.

oh, WOW! Now I'm wondering how I managed to live this long without knowing about Noa Noa.

this is amazing - and here I was planning to dive into some of the beautiful new fabrics I have and make some more fall clothes, and you send perfect inspiration my way today. THANK YOU!

man, I can't wait until I finally get to make that long-planned trip to Europe. I don't think I'll pack any clothing....

Hello from a new commenter!
I'm in the UK and I adore NoaNoa, there is a shop near me which sells their stuff so I get to actually wear it too. Do you have other UK readers? Perhaps a swap could be arranged?

The German site is great- they look like they are actually having fun. Euro-trip anyone?

Hoorah! I'm glad Noa Noa made the impact on you that I thought they would. I've been swooning over the new collection of theirs in the shops at the moment, though I'm always more attracted to the mini noa noa collections, before, to my disappointment I find they're not the 'grown-up' clothes. I long for the day when I have children...and lots of money to buy them pretty noa noa things.

i'm going to model all of my winter outfits after those german gals. cute layers! fun pictures!

Noanoa is from denmark, not from germany! But i am glad to hear that whilst i'm jealous of your access to anthropologie (which doesn't deliver to europe, even when you beg them to) you are jealous of our access to noa noa. Indeed i would propose a swap?

Shanna · September 07, 2007 at 09:55 AM

i'd be happy to accompany you on a shopping trip to denmark. maybe we can start our own little online boutique and then we can write of the the trip. :)

ahhh, NoaNoa, my first love and my reason for flying back home year after year...

Indeed, that last outfit in blue is divine! But I also like two of the outfits in the picture before it, the skirt with sweater and delicious brown blouse. And the lovely lady in the chair with buttoned knickers, very newsboy.

Hi Ems......my friend Nikki has the franchise for Noa Noa down the road from my shop here in the UK. I can definately help you with some purchases. I have a couple of spring Noa Noa items still in stock from last year in peach silk. I can email you pics if you are interested. Nikki will have alot of the current autumn winter stock now in. If you need any help let me know.

Also wanted to let you know the print did arrive and I love it. Thanks for sending the replacement.
Regards, Michelle
