Fairytale Marc Jacobs

September 09, 2007 · Bigwig Designers

Marc by Marc Jacobs has some really pretty, fairytale-ish pieces right now (and they're almost affordable) at Net-a-porter:

And...if we're talking dream-dresses (that are in NO way affordable, and not available in my size, anyway):

How about this Alexander McQeen number?

Holy crap. That is the world's most perfect dress. I was just thinking how many I.Q. points I might be willing to trade for it. I'd still want to be fairly smart (like able to hold a fork, tie my shoes, go to the potty with out assistance), but I'd be willing to take a real hit, intellect-wise, to wear that out on a friday night.

These are ALL wonderful! I LOVE them! Motivation to become a seamstresss!

Marc Jacobs - how does he KNOW (what we want)? That man is a genius.

That Alexander McQueen Number is simply gorgeous. Ohhhh what it must be like to have a load of money and be the size of a stick insect, lol.

oh man, Emily please please PLEASE keep these inspiring lovelies coming. I have heaps of fabric that needs to be sewn up into darling clothes and I'll be darned if I just seem so stumped lately.

These are great, such lovely soft colours. I've been a sucker for McQueen for years, but who knew this Marc by MJ collection was so sweet? Off to style.com for a second look, thanks!

Wow. I really need to get on that whole "grown-up job" = "disposable income" thing. I. need. those. dresses. Real bad. I've also been seriously lusting after the new Anthropologie/Free People woodland-fairy thing they've been doing...

I LOVE your blog. You have the most amazing style. Thought you might like to see a few UK stores that might appeal to you.
