I don't know if it's this way with everyone, but it has been so hot lately that I'm having a hard time scheming up cute outfits. It's almost like it's too hot to care...and the heat also prevents me from wearing lots of layers the way I like to. Yesterday, however, it was a little cooler than it had been, so I got to wear this new wrap dress (I scored it at the Nordstrom Rack with my mom the other day).
It could've been a snooze (even though it has that cute sneaky-heart print) but I piled on the accessories and I think that worked to sass it up!

I know what you mean. It's so hard to dress cute when it's a million degrees outside. My staples this summer have been tank tops and skirts...and piling on jewelry!

I seem to dress better in the summer. I love dresses and skirts, but come cooler weather they have to hibernate and I'm stuck with more boring options.
My favorite part of the outfit the the little flower in your hair. So sweet!

i applaud you for putting in the effort you do. i agree, in the summertime my fashion sense goes out the window. my main priority is staying cool. ...and the kneehighs will not come out until it hits about 15 degrees celsius. you are a brave soul!

Love the flower with it all, very nice. I adore the socks too, Ive only just discovered the joy of socks, they can add so much to an outfit, sorry have to mention the shoes as well, are they from remix? They have two pairs I very much want on sale right now.......

I hear you about the heat! Atlanta is killer right now. :( Love the outfit! I think those socks would be a little much for me right now though wit the heat! You're certainly brave for that one.

Oh.....the HEAT! Ugh! The Bane of my existence! I'm a cardigan lover....and the nasty heat severely shakes my little cardigan loving world! And (thanks to you!) I've become addicted to Sock Dreams....I've got another order on it's merry way to me as I type....and all I have to say is "Thank Goodness for air conditioning!"

I have a wrap shirt that is exactly the same as your dress (same sleeves, print, tie, etc), but, well, shorter. Seeing the dress version, though, makes me wish I had the dress instead. It looks lovely on you! Clearly, you have excellent taste ;)
