Just a little, little post to tell about this hilarious ugly shoe blog I found the other day, whilst obsessing over mostly very un-ugly Kurt Geigers (that's all Jessica's fault).

Emily! Those shoes are certainly fugly. Who would buy the sock/shoe combo? On the flip side, I keep meaning to tell you about Twenty Two Shoes--they have a website--beautiful line made in Italy and designed by a husband and wife in Oakland. They posted a pair of boots on Share Your Look in Feb for this coming fall and I fell in love with them and just got them. I've also bought two pairs of heels as all the reviews said their heels are really comfortable (cork insoles) and they truly are. Not inexpensive but they do go on sale. Anyway! Since you love shoes, thought I'd pass it along. PS, my daughter loves all your outfits and is going to make me print them out.

seriously, i DID in fact really dig a couple of shoes on that blog. i'm kinda embarrassed now. people may take picures of my feet one day and post them on the ugliest shoe blog. yikes!

Interesting,I actually adore those Balenciaga's,they have a crazy 80's feel to them....but what do I know,I went through a major period I called"worship of the ugly" it was about shapeless vintage house dresses,with awful shoes,and crazy silver new-agey jewels(anhks and goddess charms and such(yipes!),plus,other related looks.It was quite liberating!
I still have a thing for ugly shoes,soooo I'll hafta' check this blog out!

*mouth wide open* ok i don't know about the other two pairs, but i LOVE the balenciaga shoes!!! i call them the lego. i love it!! i would totally buy it if i were a lot richer. in fact, i adore the entire balenciaga collection :)
