Happy, happy birthday! We have a saying in Mexico "Who doesn't risk, doesn't win". It's very exciting trying new and adventurous things, you won't regret that cake, I'm sure.

Might be kind of a syndrome, I always felt older, but then when I got 24 is like if I had parked there, I still feel like 24.

Happy birthday, Emily. One of my favorite categories of your posts is the thrift shop finds. I like to see what others are finding out there as good thrifting is getting harder and harder. Everyone is so savvy now! I did find a vintage Brown Betty tea pot last weekend. Which brings me to my next comment, raspberry cakes taste sooooooooooo much better with tea than with coffee. So pull out the tea pot and have a little "high tea"-- cake, tea, and fine conversation.
