Little Kneesocks + Little Houses

January 27, 2008

This go 'round, the Sophie dolls have sweet, sweet knee-high socks (in place of their regular tights). This doesn't seem like a huge change, I suppose, but to me, these little socks makes me deliriously happy:

I've also got these cute "wee house" paintings on little canvases that I've been meaning to show you for a few weeks, now:

I think they'd look really sweet clustered with other small pieces or maybe some fabric swatches.
They'll be part of the update as well.
I hadn't shown that neat red curiosity shelf yet, had I? It normally holds some of my favorite things in my newly-white studio. After the update Tuesday, hopefully I'll get around to taking some photos of the place!

Okay, I've got one more project (and maybe another doll or two) to try and finish for you between today and tomorrow.

xoxo

Emily
I adore the knee highs on the dollies.
I just finished a vintage smock in the dress fabric on the right last night
Oh, and those little house paintings are so sweet.

i love the dolls you make (with the neat color- and fabric combo's) - and i love the knee highs (i once bought really cute ones from Mia Zia ( http://www.maroussia.be/miazia/FR/intro.htm ). It's a belgian brand but with strong oriental inspiration.

I especially like the Nanny (from Muppet Babies) red-&-white stripes.

I think the knee-high socks are a huge change. They are very lovely! I especially like the red and white polka dot ones.

Yay! Dolls! I've been hoping that you would make some more. The knee-high socks look great and I do like those little red-roofed houses.

I love those dolls. My daughter has asked for some in the past when she saw me looking at them, but this time, I want one :)
Hope January is treating you well!

ah.
one day, my dear, i shall have one of those dolls. both yours and progectgrabbags are my favourites in all of webland.

but your shop updates are not for the feint hearted;) i could liken them to the january sales, where feverish shoppers will camp all night in the blistering cold, just so that they can rush in when the apple-alarm goes off! except, of course, you are infinitely more unique and lovely than the high street stores!

so, alas, it seems that i many simply have to find my way over to the States sometime and steal one from your home.
i apologise in advance, but it will very likely be unavoidable, especially now theyre donning knee highs!
