cute. i like it. the shape of the fabrics remind me a little of band-aids.
i like your new banner. is it an illustration or a fabric scan?

Nancy · September 25, 2007 at 01:13 PM

I love it... any chance it'll be made a print at some point? 'cause I think I'll have to purchase a print if it does. :)

Casey · September 25, 2007 at 01:14 PM

A little cognitive dissonance, aye?

Hilary Glime · September 25, 2007 at 01:34 PM

Oh Miss E,

Too cute and wonderful indeed!! xxo

A Fanciful Twist · September 25, 2007 at 07:23 PM

lovely!! The green is fantastic, and I love the fabric "bandaids" (lol). The hair/word girls are so interesting, I think.

How I wish I had a chance at your shop update to try to snag something... but alas, I work or have school every weekday. :(

Sarah · September 25, 2007 at 09:35 PM

I know how she feels. Cool hair.

Hola Emily,
I just wanted to say that I found your blog through your Etsy store and it has been a great experience. You're such a unique and nice person. Thank you so much for your generosity.
What I like the most about you is that you're happy with who you are, that's very remarkable for someone your age.
I have to say that I equally enjoy your visitors. It has been great for me to have access to their blogs, so thank you for that too (for attracting great people to your blog).
I am just fascinated with the whole blog experience. When I was living in Cuba we didn't have any access to the Internet. For my friends and I the Internet was a huge prohibited mystery and I never got to understand what it was until 2001 when I moved to the USA.
I am happy now to have my own blog too. I think that It is such a privilege.
And now I have to go but I will always me back because your special and easy-going world makes me smile.
Thank you again!
Elsita :)

So Adorable!! I love the little patchwork pieces and her hair writing! ;)

Eileen Weigand · September 26, 2007 at 09:33 AM

Love this piece! What sort of adhesive is used to mount the fabric so smoothly?

hb · September 26, 2007 at 11:22 AM

Oooh! New banner, too!

Loving your stuff, still.

Ky Eliza · September 26, 2007 at 02:43 PM

This is not only an amazing painting, but it completely applies to my own life right now, right down to the "bandaids" along the edges. I'm all messed up & contrary right now, and in need of some bandaids around my recently roughed up edges.

Thanks for making this!

jill · September 26, 2007 at 03:23 PM
