These are all on 6"x6"x2" chunky canvas, in ink, fabric, thread, and watery acrylic. They'll be in the update Tuesday, and maybe some more little square things, too! They are fun to work on.
Working on a square shape is really odd for me, for some reason (I think my teachers in art school always warned against the difficulty of working in a square). I have to keep it really simple (well, simple for me), or I just don't know what to do with the thing.
Off to sew, but before I do, here is a (grainy) photo of my room last night...I was just lolling in bed, reading the new Domino (which is actually a pretty good issue), and this corner looked so pretty:
Lamp-light is just the best.

thats fair square.
ya rooms are nice when the are dressed up. i need a computer armoire, i tend to throw things away or give em away, like a desk... when i want something new... so i have been computer table less for quite some time. i will get it soon though, mines on the floor right now. and i havent had sheets on my bed for awhile either i just wrap myself up on a sheet every night since its so warm in ca anyway. heh
but yes appreciating the beauty in a room is required for beauty sleep.

The Girl collages are just lovely. Oh, and i really love the Smith girl painting from your last post. She is so cool!
Funny. Sometimes when i am at home or out and about i just see something and think, 'wow that would be a great photo'. Love it when that happens...

I love your home, you really do make it a lovely space! The dresser is the shabby chic line from Target, no? They were 70% off online but were all snatched up, I wanted it for my daughters room.

Your room is so pretty! Love the Dream of Horses. When I was 9/10/11 I read every horse book I could get my hands on, which is funny now because now I know that I'm deathly allergic. AAAAAaaachooooooooo!
