Little Bandit Boy & Little Bandit Girl 8"x10"x1" Acrylic on canvas
I really love this little pair, which were just finished up after some quality time with This American Life in the studio.
I've been painting lots, which is very fun and good and means there will be a super update next week! I'm planning to hop on my sewing machine later this week and make some dolls. I've been loving the old girl (my sewing machine) lately, as I've been stitching up some real clothes and performing some bag therapy, so I want to take advantage of that sewing momentum!
I'm also hoping to get cracking on my top-secret Gocco project this week, before we head to visit friends in Nashville for the weekend! I'm really loving projects that can be functional and also involve my work (ie: the undies), and I think the Gocco has kind of restored my love of that sort of project.
Happy Monday!

can't wait to see the new project! i finally got around to trying the darning/embroidery foot i bought for my machine and it's wild!!!! it's going to take some practice, but how fun to "draw" on fabric!!! i can just imagine the loveliness you could make with such a tool. :)
