Two newly completed paintings that I just love...
They'll be part of the shop update tomorrow, and I have to say...quite hard to part with! Those people who notice tiny details might spot that I'm also debuting a new painting-signature, after wrestling for a long time with the idea of signatures on the front of paintings much to the chagrin of some of my customers (I know...I am wierd) I finally formulated a simple "monogram"-ish one.
Happy Thursday, my sweets. I've got a hellofalot of work to do today! See you tomorrow at 2:00!

whoa!! Jackalope baby is by far the most adorable painting I have ever seen!!! Will you be making this into a print as well?? I really would love to own the original, but my budget is defiantly lacking right now.

I love these fantasy pieces!
I used to sign the front of my paintings, and actually had a teacher in college say maybe I shouldn't, it might interfere with the image (which suprised me ~ it was a very tiny signature like yours).
Now I actually sign the back of the canvas, and sign the back of the prints. I'm not sure why I changed, perhaps because my name changed, and therefore my initials.
