Hello dears, I'm writing to you with my fashion forecasting for my own personal fall/winter. Judging from today's look...
I'm thinking highs in the 1940's (pencil skirts, highwaisted belts with blouses, etc.) with lows in 19th century French prostitute (the usual ridiculous hosiery and decadent shoes, voluminous faux-petticoats).
I really just wanted to advertise the fact that I wore a snood today.
I also bought a new vintage dress today...and though it looks unbelievably frumpy on the hanger, it is very fetching on. Okay, and I did alter the neckline to be...well...not so very high.
The manifold green stripes are quite fetching, no?

PS: I worked on another lovely little painted-face doll today. She'll be ready for a nice photo shoot tomorrow, I believe. Thank you so much for all of the sweetie pie comments about the black bunny doll. You guys are the best, and I couldn't wait to get to work on another!

I wish I had the figure to wear such gorgeous things. I am so chesty I would be quite frightening in such an ensemble. Lucky girl!

Ooh! I love your outfit and the dress! I also really like the concept of "themed" wardrobes. I think that may help me with picking out items for my fall wardrobe: I've decided to draw inspiration from 1940s film noir. ;) (Thanks to your post!)
