Yesterday, the lovely lady Hillary of weewonderfulsville posted about an incredible French children's fashion magazine, Milk. An overseas subscription is insanely pricey, so I was thrilled to see that their archives are full of beautiful, beautiful images! You will go nuts... The photos are incredible, and were so inspiring. I looked and looked for what seemed like hours last night, going back again and again.
There was one particular photo (see if you can find it in the archives!) that really glued itself to me, and I had to do a black apple painted incarnation of it, on the double.
Here it is, Little Bear, in la shop. Ooooooh and now I am so very jealous of her hooded, bear-eared little capelet I can hardly stand it!
More little "Milk" children to love, if you are too silly or lazy or generally intimidated by the French to click over yourself (kidding, of course):
So, I suppose the only question remaining is:
"Who is going to steal an eccentric French child for me"?

I too am jealous of her hooded, bear-eared little capelet... I'd happily wear one all day long, until the sun got too hot to handle.

I too spent hours yesterday looking at the milk images and trying to figure out how to recreate some of the clothes. I love what you did it is amazing!
agree that you need a book.
and concur about vincent, my faith is restored in p.r. I can breathe again. the saddest tragedy was when katherine was kicked off for her dress being to plain and they didn't even mention the dress he made. ugh. oh and we don't have to hear him saying that it gets him off anymore cause that is creepy

yes, a definite thank God about Project Runway. i'm still bitter about Allison leaving, but i feel a bit less inclined to cry now that nasty old Vincent is gone!

I know--I love Milk. I'm excited for the magazines in France (I'm moving there in two weeks); such great inspiration.
