These are for sale here (tweet) and here (green apple). This is what I've been up to this afternoon.
Well, that, and dreaming up a small mental list of things that are really making me happy right now, and here are some, in no particular order:
a.) Peanut Butter and Honey sandwiches on super soft wheat bread
b.) real letters
c.) "Little, Big", the novel. When one marries into a family of fairies, how can a good story not ensue?
d.) The Detroit Cobras, who I have the inimitable Ms. Aunty Cookie herself, Shannon, to thank/blame for getting me hooked with the 2 tracks she put on the mix cd she sent me. I finally had to break down and buy a couple of their records, and I can't stop listening. I had read alot about them, but I never imagined how great a modern rock n roll girl doing a Ronnie Spector impression could sound. And I get to see them for free on Sunday! Shannon, hop a plane. Just ditch Lo and come to Brooklyn.
e.) going to the movies. which I get to do in a few hours, to see the eagerly awaited (by me, anyway) Little Miss Sunshine.
f.) crafting bags of all sorts. wanting to keep them. selling them to people who I know will really love and appreciate them (this means you, Jan & Michelle!)
g.) getting a big backlog of painting ideas, so that when I pick up ye olde paintbrushes again (very soon!) there will be loads of little things trying to jump into the pictures...
h.) feeling humble and grateful.

Oh man how good are they?? Im very jealous you get to watch her in action - she is a goddess of sorts....if you like a chain smoker who alo puffs on her inhaler between songs!! I feel suitably rock'n'roll wearing my D.C's tshirt with the big drag car on it, even if the shoulders are covered in lola snot....!!
Have fun and rock out. God Im jealous, its breaking my heart.

love the bags, that apple fabric is especially wonderful. Little big, gotta remember to read that one. As for those PB&H sandwiches, you and Emma should do lunch together.

Let me know how little miss sunshine is! I want to see it sooooo badly.
Excited.
Going to see John Tucker Must Die tomorrow... much anticipated as well... at least by me and my bad-taste-in-movies-too boyfriend.
Mmm... catty girl movies...

Oh, I love the Detroit Cobras. They played in the city next to mine and I didn't know until the day they played - I was so upset! I'm sure you will have fun at the show.

I have NEVER (well hardly ever) met anyone else who has read Little, Big (at least to whom I didn't give a copy, saying, "Read this!")
Woeshemana!
