Let's be honest...Anthro really sucked it up this Spring/Summer in the skirt department, with a precious few exceptions. I really love skirts, because I also love sweaters and blouses and such, and love to have something to wear the aforementioned with. My inside source, the adorable Janelle corroborated that the skirt situation was not the best these days...but it looks like they are really turning the beat around, so to speak, just in time for Autumn:
They are all a little on the pricey side, but the good news is that (at least some) will probably be on sale by the time it's chilly enough to wear them.

I think the customary response to this, is to say, "you are bad for me and my wallet". But its just not true. I love your blog and you just showed me a skirt with birds on it, what is better than that : )

yes, i love the jersey one with the mesh tie! I was opening ogling it just yesterday. Did you know the August catalogue is available on the website? That sweater jacket on the cover is to die for!
but I really miss their outdoor fall photo shoots. And the little story-text they used to use, don't you? I hope they pull one out for September.

yummy bird skirt!! :) Anthropologie catalogues that arrive in my post box rarely escape without drool marks!
ooh! And Danka for your links to Sock Dreams....I had no idea such a perfectly lovely purveyor of Victorian styled socks existed and now I have my very own pair (actually 3 pairs!) YUM! They shall go ever so marvelously with my side button boots!: )

Just visited Anthro in person last week,what I am coveting is this really sweet navy courduroy light coat with a ruffled collar,and a couple of dresses I am hoping will go on sale soon!
