We had a really nice time selling Black Apple wares and meeting people on Saturday and Sunday. Thank you very kindly to anyone who came to visit!
We learn a little more and get a little more efficient every time we do a show. This time, we finally put everything we usually lug in (displays, product, etc) on wheels, and I'm flummoxed about why we didn't do it before! That little dolly up there holding all the sweet chests/suitcases made me particularly happy.
There's always a feeling of the carnival leaving town when everyone packs up at the end of a big show like Renegade. People deconstructing wooden walls, folding cloth and wheeling things about, the room whirring and humming and steadily getting more empty.
It's so festive and overwhelming when the show is in full swing, and packing all that away at the end feels one part wistful and one part lovely.
And one part too darn tired to feel much of anything, ready to flop into a car or a bed or a cocktail.
