Most of the art walls in our house are ever-evolving, with new things coming in and pictures we've grown tired of going on to new homes. This is especially true of one particular wall, which is next to our couch. It's always casually cluttered with various bits and pieces from here and there, and always changing.
(It is also blasted hard to photograph, because no windows face it.)
Right now, since I found the 19th century floral drawing/painting in the center, I am really in love with this wall. I think it will stay this way for a good little while.
I found it at the Antiques expo a few weeks back, and it was my prize find of the day. The pansies at the bottom and star-flowers at the top are my favorites. The seller had it strung on a piece of old shoelace, which I thought was so sweet I've kept it that way!
Oh! And that pretty golden floral/ticking pillow up top is from this lovely British pillow shop. I wanted about five of her pillows, but I stopped with just this goldie.
Happy Monday to you!
