The Pale Carousel Acrylic on canvas 20"x24"x1"
This is a large (for me) painting I've been working on for the last week or so. It has the little gilded edging again that's not very apparent in this shot. I need to take it down to the studio where they take nice, beautiful, high-res photos of work this large.
I considered making the animals really stylized (I mean, more than they already are), but I like the idea that they could be real albino animals, frozen in time. Okay, so the bunny is bigger than the swan, but you know.
That's my idea of realism.
The doll factory is firing up, and should be in full swing with little soft friends to see soon!
