Hello, Sunday!
Josiah and I have developed a few Sunday-afternoon traditions in our month or so in town, which we are about to make good on. But before I do, I'm trying to keep up with not getting behind on posting all the new work I have!
Jackalope Jill approx. 8" x 10" x 1" Acrylic on vintage plaque
The shape of this plaque is just so great. I painted it and distressed it a nice creamy-white. I knew I had to make a lovely girl to live on it, thus this little jackalope.
I want to thank you for all the sweet + thoughtful comments on the last post. It felt really wonderful to put something out there that is both personal AND a little different from the work I've done for the past few years, and receive warm feedback. It is always appreciated, but especially, especially on that post. Thank you!
I'm thinking the update will be not this coming week, but maybe the next? We'll see. There is still a lot that I want to do on my end.
Enjoy your Sunday afternoon, lovely applets.
