This shadow-puppet image is from a packet of them I bought a few years back in Brooklyn, from my favorite book store there, Spoonbill & Sugartown. Sigh. It's one of the few things I really, really, really miss about ye olde Williamsburg. Anyway, the shadow-puppet-diagrams have made several moves now and are looking rather shabby, so I spent a little while yesterday scanning and "digitally repairing" them. I wanted to make some nice print-versions to frame for the new house.
I'm thinking a row in matching frames will do quite nicely.
At any rate, I will be a bit of a phantom this week, and will be even more of a phantom next week as we make our move. Thank you, thank you for all of the well-wishing that has come our way. We're so excited, but there is still plenty of un-fun work to be done before feathering the new nest begins.
See you soon, though...and I'll miss seeing you + the blog regularly during this time of flux!
love,
emily
