So, I think I can share this little drawing-present I made recently for Lucy + Ryan (proprietors of Berkley Illustration and all 'round rad duo) because the intended have received it in the mail. It was a little thank-you for their help procuring the sweetest wee house on the Other Coast and for being generally such sweet-peas themselves.
I'm pretty sure Ryan has a proclivity for sharks (as evidenced here), and I think/hope Lucy could see herself as a little brown bear. A loving, vaguely skeptical little bear, at that. I can't think of anything sweeter to be.
And, as a bear, you stand a good fighting chance should (perish the thought) animal-fisticuffs ever enter the picture.
