And, hey! Thanks for all the fabric-giddiness. It is a good time to be a stuff-maker, for certain!

Gosh there are so many comments on here that I doubt you'll even read mine. No mind. I just wanted to say that I LOVE ur blog! It's so inspiring, to the point I have even started my own:

I have passed around you're site to many, many of my art student friends and they LOVE it too! I've added a link to you on my blog and advertised you to other web bloggers. I hope you don't mind. I'm sure you won't. I love your paintings btw. Specially your newest one of the girl with white hair, sitting down in a red dress. Oh well never mind my babbling. Keep up the STUNNING work. :D

Hey, I was just watching the end of "The city of lost children" by JP Jeunet, and I was wondering why I have never seen any paint about Miette on your blog... I guess you would have made a lovely strange little Miette ! I would have bet you would love this movie, don't you ?
Well, anyway, I really adore this movie, which is to me like a dark mix between Snow White and Peter Pan. Such a cute weird movie ! ;o)

OOOOhhh... wish I could talk my hubby into some prints for our anniversary next week.. (I will have to work on him, maybe make him his favorite sweet-n-sour pork for supper) ;-)

I hope you get a chance to make something wonderful out of the fabric soon...and keep us posted! Even some framed swatches would be A-dorable :-)

Hi Emily,

I have a question for you, how many pages did you have for your illustrated book and what size? I am thinking of printing my own children's book for these characters I came up with to show at the Licensing Show in Vegas next June since now I am going into branding licensing, but still doing art licensing.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!! By the way I love your girls they are soo fabulous!

Just saw your post about creating your own fabric. That's awesome!! And how very exciting. I always look forward to seeing your work, thanks for inspiring so many of us!

coool. you should totally do that sock contest

Hi Emily - I hopethat you will do lots more things like your sketchbooks. The chances of me being able to spend time hovering over my etsy refresh button and thereby buy from your shop updates are frankly zilch so it is nice to see things in the shop.
By the way I am using you as my top example in a series of talks that I am giving to local businesses here in Scotland - my aim is to get them all blogging so it is great to have an example of someone who has worked hard to build a business centered on a blog and an Etsy shop.
