Anna in grey 10"X10"x1.5" Acrylic on canvas
This painting is my version of a little Anna Karina, who I consider a superhero. She's wearing a coat a bit like the blue one in Une femme est une femme. She'll be in the update tomorrow (along with lots of pretty dollies and other exciting things!).
Remember, meet me at the shop at 2:00 pm Eastern! You can use this clock if you want to be there at the exact moment everything goes live.
xoxo, my applets!

Hi Emily, 'Anna' inspired me to purchase some of your beautiful girls today. I'm sure they will make a divine addition to my new home. I can't wait!! Thanks for your truly lovely site, Jess.

What a sweet coat bedecked girl!! :) Her coat reminds me of one I saw at Anthropologie a while ago that I greatly coveted....I resigned myself to the comfort that I could at least PAINT the coat, even if I could not buy it! ;)
Happy Shop Update Day!! :)

Oh, she's stunning.
I've still never managed to see a shop update, because I work 8-5pm in a hospital with no access to the internet. *sniffles and feels sorry for self*
Maybe after the holiday madness could you do an evening update, just for us poor souls who would love an original, but just simply cannot get online during the day? :)

Looking forward to your update!

I am going to type in all capitals so that you know how much I mean the words that I am about to say; OH MY GOSH, I LOVE HER, SHE IS BEAUTIFUL, I THINK YOU ARE AWESOME FOR CREATING HER.
See you in the shop.

She's so beautiful and this makes me even sadder that I'll be teaching at the time--no way on earth can I stop to try to buy his beautiful girl. Can you do an update at another time next time for those of us whose jobs don't allow us to be online or is there any way to commission a work--your inspiration?

I love her hair!

So wonderful! I'm inspired to use pink and blue for my next creations.
You are an endless source of ideas. I just emailed Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion and suggested they put you in their column "Next:artists and designers on our radar"..(also suggested they do an article on Etsy if they haven't already).
You're seriously going to have to start hiring employees for your company Emily. That way you can make more wonderful art like Anna Karina.
