Here are some of the very fun items that will appear live in my shop on Tuesday at 2:00 EST:
A new (big!) painting that was completed over the weekend:
Twins 11"x20"x1" Acrylic on wood
I went crazy over the giant wooden plaque that it is executed on, and this seemed to be the perfect image for it. The edges are painted a beautiful light pink. I'm a little bit over the moon for this painting!
A few simple, kinda illustrative hedgie paintings that I also wrapped up this weekend (both measure 10"x10"x1", and are acrylic on canvas):
And I am SO excited about these:
I made a very limited run (5 to be precise) of beautiful prints of the Wolfbaby image that originally appeared on the teatowels! They are printed on gorgeous, toothy white Arches heavyweight paper and each is hand-embellished with light pink glitter. They are signed and numbered, and arrive sleeved.
Some other little fun things for the update:
Some lovely little pocket mirrors...
and adorable, unlined hedgie journals/sketchbooks.

love the twins painting. it reminded me of our conversation at Renegade and you saying you wanted a red and white striped tent for the fair and then i mentioned the circus.

For my mom, I want the hedgie Mama hanging clothes with her little one; of course I'll wait till it comes out as a print (please make this a print!) since I never make it to the shop updates in time. My mom still does this...hates to use a clothes drier. Me? I dry all my clothes in the machine! Cute work!

I want a glittery wolfbaby so much! Only 5 in existence? So cruel - it makes me want one all the more but also makes it so unlikely that I'll get one... I'm off to try to work out the time difference so I can hover around when the update is scheduled to happen. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

i so totally adore the siamese twins. i just watched freak for the first time and they remind me of the movie. but i am not sure i will make it to the update...i gotta go have lunch with mauricio to be caught up on public health gossip and may not make it back in time. :(

I had a quick question about your paintings: do you scan them and then post the images or do you take pictures of them? Scanning seems to get so expensive if one doesn't really know how to do it oneself...
