Sophie!
A new, in-between-size doll from new pattern I just drafted. I rather love her, and plan to make many more friend-Sophies (hopefully some for Renegade! It is creeping up on my so quickly!). This may spell the end for the larger, chubster-doll style (not that I am anti-chubster, not at all).

All these sweet girls will be for sale at 2:000 pm EST on Monday!

Fantastic collection of dolls.

Any thoughts regarding Shiny Squirrel, I hope you want to be apart of it because I love your work.

I think that you should really do some sewn pins! I just love pins, especially fabric ones. I like to put them on every jacket and cardigan and bag. It would be really cool to see some mini dolls pins or even flowers or something.
The dolls look fab! Maybe this time I will get to buy something before it all sells out . :-)

Oh, man. I just found your website not too long ago (forget how) and I love your style. Those dolls are completely fabulous and I wish wish wish I could buy one! I'm most fond of the red-headed dunce girl.

Ah, the dunces look so content in their dunciness and not at all embarrassed.

Marcy · May 11, 2007 at 01:27 PM

Oh, sweet Sophie. Where are you off to, with your over-sized valise and your saucy little ponytails? Providence? Reliance? Culver City? I'm guessing you're going by train, and I bet there are little licorice bites wrapped in wax paper packed with your things...

karaalison · May 11, 2007 at 01:37 PM

Love the dolls. I grew up on hand-made doll. I now don't like any of the mass produced one. Yours have so much Personality!! Just adorable!

Erin Earls · May 11, 2007 at 02:03 PM

Oh how cute! I wanted to let you know that Reprodepot is having $20 off their 20's style fabrics, I recognized some of them on your sweet designs. LOVE your blog, discovered you via Shinny Squirrel :)

Michelle · May 11, 2007 at 02:28 PM

risa · May 11, 2007 at 04:36 PM

I love the little dunces. The combination of prints is really charming.
