The Cupcake Peddlers 8"x10"x1" Acrylic on wood
We just came back from friend's engagement party at their nice, quiet-ish bar and I'm happily warm and a bit fuzzy-brained. I thought I would share this new piece, though, because I love it + have been hard at work at it lately. The source drawing is equally as good (if not better) than the painting, so I'm going to show that off when I get to scanning it!

I've been lurking around reading your wonderful blog for awhile, and just wanted to de-lurk to tell you how much I love the Cupcake Peddlers! I wish some would come to my office right now, actually . . .
I also confess to very often looking again for the little knitter girl print and sighing wistfully. Some time soon I'll break down and buy the darn thing!

How funny. I just bought the Magnolia Bakery cookbook for the cupcakes...made a birthday cake using one of the frosting recipes-YUM! Love this one!

Hi! I sent you a couple of convos on ETSY but it seems you don't spend much time there. I was saying that you should really illustrate some kids books...but then i read your entire blog and realized it's something you are already pursuing...duh! Also just wanted to say i have thoroughly enjoyed your photos and writing and i always feel like my day is a little more enchanted from having read it all! You do have a lovely life, one many of us aspire to. Kudos!
