Hedgies
We got in late last night from our very, very fun and relaxing trip to visit my sweet Elizabeth and her boyfriend, Lee. Nashville is a great town, and it is absolutely on the list of potential places to move. I did have to be reassured by Elizabeth that there are multiple APC's at the Post Office (APC=The Robot Machine). There was lots of good food, some game playing, a free trip to a ridiculous Renaissance Festival (an event we all know isn't really worth paying for), and a generally wonderful time was had.

I just updated shop with lots of new paintings and dolls and such...there are still a couple of pieces left, among them this little beauty:

Elsieblog
Elsie and Grey Bunny   8"x10"x1"   Acrylic on cotton, mounted on canvas

She is such a pretty gal!

Thanks to everyone for marking the update in your calenders, planners, whathaveyou! I hope that at least some folks got just the piece they were eying. Those dolls flew off so quickly, good grief!

I have some postal work to do and a few other (more fun) chores, so I should probably unplug myself from ye olde computer. Happy Monday, and I hope the week is off to a good start for everyone!

Elsie is a Dear! : )

I've never used an APC...I have my doubts that there are any in our town....I think I would love it, though, as I am a great fan of self checkout!

I love the background for Elsie's portrait, and Elsie herself is quite a cutie. Great work!

Wish I could have seen the new dolls, but I was a bit too late in checking your shop. I'm glad for you that your things sell so quickly!

Since I'm such a proud momma, please check my blog for some pictures of my own little cutie pie. :)

I am a greedy greedy girl. But, you knew that already? I love my pieces. It was my lucky day. I had such a hard time not taking Elsie with me....But a girl has to have some control???

Nah.

Elsie is a precious girl!

Today was my lucky day as well! Definitely makes the week start off in a very good way! It is so fun to see what comes up but doubly exciting to get something.

I have never been to Nashville, I don't think unless it was just passing through on a car trip a long time ago, but it sounds like a fun place.

Hope you have a wonderful day as well.

Your stuff all vanished right before my eyes! congrats! your work is awesome! :)

Will you be selling prints of Orange Topiary in the near future?

Glad you enjoyed Nashville (I can't bring myself to go to the Renaissance Fair, so I won't). I have to try to convince my friends back home in Los Angeles that I have not moved to some southern town that cannot be found on any map. And the APC's almost always work, although most people still can't manage to figure out how.

I keep seeing all the RenFaire billboards on my way to work everyday, but I haven't yet gone - not that I was planning on going.

Would love to purchase Elsie and Grey Bunny for a friend, will she be in the shop soon?
