Armed with my favorite apron,
My favorite part of my afternoon was spent making easily the most simple and most pretty of all the pies:
Yum, yum.
Luckily, Ms. Sara is coming over to help me eat it. Otherwise...well...no amount of kickboxing could help a gal who eats two tins of cherry pie filling on her own.

Absolutely adorable apron. If I owned one like that, I'd want to bake all day just to wear it.
I have an old vintage apron that was my great-grandmother's.. the kind you shrug on from the front and they hook in the back, and it almost looks like a dress of its own. I adore it. I made pumpkin pie in it yesterday. :)

Aprons are going to be one of the first things I make with my new handy-dandy sewing machine. I saw a ton at Anthropologie this wkend, many in vintage-look fabric similar to yours. I can't wait to get started.
