She was painted on Friday night, and then sold overnight....
and I have to say that she's so blasted adorable and empathetic, I'm a little sad that she's already gone. You will be missed, my little scandalous authoress..
Speaking of which, what do you guys think of an authoress series? I'm thinking maybe the "greatest hits" of the 20's-40's (V. Woolf, obviously would be next).
Anyway, in other, more ridiculous news, we saw "Slither" , the creepy-crawly movie last night. It was really funny but also was really bothering my texture-phobia.
To offset the silliness, I came home and watched the very long, but very wonderful film by Jane Campion An Angel at My Table . Clint told me that it was an ugly movie, but I said "pish-posh, she wouldn't go from making some plain, ugly movie in 1990, to making possibly the most beautiful movie ever made (the Piano, by the way) a few years later". And I was right...it was beautiful. But not in a stylish way,in that lush way that Jane Campion specializes in.
Happy Sunday!
